TL;DR : What Changes
- Only one assistant joins meetings by default per organization (no more bot overload).
- If several teammates join the same meeting, one assistant is automatically selected based on ownership priority.
- Anyone can still start their own assistant manually from the dashboard.
- To ensure access for everyone, internal and recurring meetings are automatically shared trough Workspaces
- External meetings are never shared automatically.
- Best experience when your calendar is connected (you can adjust sharing anytime in Admin Settings).

Overview
In large organizations, it’s common for many users to belong to the same meeting. Without restrictions, this can result in 20+ assistants (bots) joining a single meeting, creating noise and confusion.
The Single Assistant Option solves this by ensuring that only one assistant joins a meeting by default per organization, while still allowing users to manually activate their own assistant if needed.
What Problem Does This Solve?
- Prevents multiple assistants from the same organization joining the same meeting
- Reduces meeting clutter and confusion
- Keeps automation efficient and predictable
- Ensures meeting access and reports are still available to all relevant users
How the Single Assistant Option Works
Default Behavior
- For a given organization, only one assistant will automatically join a meeting.
- If multiple people from the same organization attend the same meeting, only one assistant joins by default.
- Other users can still manually activate their assistant from their dashboard if they want to.
